Some Druid Images For You

I would like to add some Druid images for you, two fanciful and one genuine. The genuine one is the lake called Llyn Cerrig Bach on the island of Anglesey, north Wales. In 1942 a team building an airfield (RAF Valley) discovered a hoard of objects in the lake, dating from the 2nd century BC to 60 AD, when the Romans destroyed the Druids of Anglesey, as described by the Roman historian Tacitus. The Greek writer Strabo (64 BC – 24 AD) says that the Gauls placed treasure in sacred lakes – he mentions in particular a lake in Toulouse, southwest France.
